Memory Pillows

Memory pillows are an easy and inexpensive way to repurpose and discreetly display your old shirts or other clothing, or that of a loved one. Can make one solid pillow using one shirt for the whole thing…or can get creative and crafty by using multiple shirts or items to creative something fun.

Below are several different pillow types and designs but definitely not limited to just these styles.

So much can be done with Memory Pillows…

  • Polo Pillow

    This pillow was made from one single polo shirt…front and back. Chest logo and button placket centered on front and preserving a bit of the collar. Can also be done with the full collar or without any collar. Back is envelope style to make cleaning easy.

  • Button-up Pillow

    Used a very large men’s button up shirt to make this rectangular shaped pillow. Included the chest logo and chest pocket on one side. The shirt button placket is used as the pillow closure and can be unbuttoned to allow for cleaning.

  • Necktie Applique & Flannel

    Grandpa loved his ties…and had ALOT of them! Made this pillow using four of the neckties as appliqués on top of plaid flannel fabric. Love how this came out and its also so snuggly.

  • Patchwork Pillow

    Used three different men’s dress shirts to create this blue and white patchwork pattern pillow. Included some of the button section from the cuffs for a little character. The back is solid blue from the same dress shirt used on the front.

  • Mosaic Shirt Pillow

    After making a Memory Blanket, a few shirt designs were saved to create two matching standard pillow cases. The border and pillow back are plaid flannel, same as was used on the blanket. Made an adorable and memorable matching set for the bedroom.

Pricing for Memory Pillows…

$35.00 Single shirt memory pillow (all sizes)

any pillow made from multiple shirts or multiple items…like the patchwork pillow, appliqué pillow, etc.

  • All memory pillows come complete with pillow insert.

  • Pillows can be ordered in 12”, 16” or 20” squares or 12” x 20” rectangle.

  • You can specify the size you’d like, however, sometimes the items being used can only be done in certain sizes. For example, an XL men’s shirt can make a much larger pillow than a ladies small.

  • All pillow inserts will be removable for ease of cleaning. Pillows will have an envelope style closure in the back or will use the button placket of the shirt as the access point. If you’d prefer a zipper closure, that can be arranged for a $5.00 charge.
